Going by the name Aqua, in other areas of the world, the sales of the Prius has more than doubled as Toyota extended the name to a four-model “family, including the original Prius, the Prius C, the Prius V and the Plug-In Prius.
Since the introduction of the line in 1997, a whopping 4 million car have been sold worldwide – 1.5 million of that number, alone, have been sold in the U.S. That’s not too bad when you factor in all those other competitors out there.
The Toyota Prius clearly has many things to offer, especially the lowest gas mileage you can get – 53/46! Regardless of whether or not the U.S. average gas prices are going down, why wouldn’t you want to join this awesome “going green” lifestyle? There’s nothing to lose! Especially money!
